Privacy Policy

Fluido AI ("the App") is an English language practice app developed by Daniel Rodriguez ("we", "us"). This policy describes how we handle your information.
1. Data We Collect
- Name — provided during onboarding to personalize your lessons.
- English level, interests, and learning goal — used to tailor your curriculum.
- Apple ID (Sign in with Apple) — if you create an account, we receive a unique Apple user identifier and, optionally, your email address, to link your progress across devices.
- Voice audio — streamed in real time to Google Gemini during practice sessions. Audio is never stored on your device or our servers.
- Conversation transcripts — generated during each session and stored on our servers (Supabase) linked to your account, to personalize future lessons and analyze your progress. You can delete them at any time.
- Learning progress — session scores, practice time, weak areas, and lesson completion. Stored locally and, if you have an account, backed up to our servers.
- Usage events — interactions such as app open, lesson started, and lesson completed, used to improve the product.
- Advertising identifier (IDFA) — a device identifier used by Google AdMob to serve ads on the free plan. You are asked for permission via iOS before this identifier is accessed. If you decline, non-personalized ads are shown instead.
- Purchase history — subscription status managed via RevenueCat to determine which features you have access to.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Personalizing lesson content and difficulty.
- Tracking your progress over time.
- Analyzing conversation performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Managing your subscription and purchase history.
- Serving ads on the free plan to fund app development (opt-in to personalized ads via the iOS permission dialog).
3. Third-Party Services
Google Gemini API — powers voice conversations and session analysis. During a session, we send: your audio stream, conversation transcripts, and your name/level/learning context. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms.
Supabase — our backend database (hosted in the US). Stores your account data, conversation transcripts, progress, and usage events, linked to your Apple ID. Governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions and purchase validation. Receives your Apple user ID and purchase receipt. Governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Google AdMob — serves ads on the free plan. May collect your advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, and usage data to show relevant ads. You are asked for permission via iOS's App Tracking Transparency dialog before any tracking occurs. If you decline, AdMob shows non-personalized ads. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Advertising & App Tracking Transparency
The free plan of Fluido AI is supported by ads provided by Google AdMob. When you first open the app, iOS will ask for permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites.
- If you allow tracking: AdMob may use your IDFA to show more relevant ads.
- If you decline: AdMob shows non-personalized ads. Your IDFA is not accessed.
You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Subscribers (Pro/Ultra) do not see ads regardless of this setting.
5. Data Storage
Your profile, progress, and session history are stored both locally on your device and, if you have an account, on our servers (Supabase, US). Conversation transcripts are stored server-side linked to your account. Audio is never stored.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the third-party services listed in Section 3, solely to provide the App's functionality. We do not share your data with advertisers directly — AdMob receives only device identifiers (if permitted) to serve ads.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
- Session history: last 100 sessions stored locally; server-side until you delete your account.
- Audio: never stored — streamed and discarded in real time.
- Account data: deleted when you use "Eliminar cuenta y datos" in the Profile screen. Server-side data is removed within 30 days.
- Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Your Rights
You can view, modify, or delete all your data through the App's Profile screen ("Eliminar cuenta y datos"). EU/EEA residents may also request data access, correction, or erasure by contacting us at the address below.
10. Subscriptions & Payments
Fluido AI offers paid subscription plans (Pro and Ultra) with weekly, monthly, and annual billing options. Subscriptions include a free trial. Payment is processed through Apple's App Store. For full subscription terms, see our Terms & Conditions.
11. AI-Generated Content
The App uses Google Gemini API to generate conversational content and language assessments. AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies. The App is a practice tool and does not replace formal language education.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
